Overview

In unit eight, participants will be introduced to and gain an understanding of the goals for driver education framework and how to adapt it in driver education programs. Participants will have the ability to explain the GDE principles clearly. They will also delve into the cause-and-effect relationships inherent in the driver training processes.

Who Is It For?

Designed for Potential Driving Instructors undertaking training, or Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) wishing to refresh and update their knowledge and instructional techniques.

Training Type

Delivered as In-Car Training, this unit blends theory with practical application — allowing participants to understand and integrate road rules and signs into real driving scenarios alongside learner drivers.

    You will be able to explain how to use the GDE matrix to create examples and scenarios.
