Foundations of Building Your Business
Overview
In unit thirteen, participants will learn and explore other crucial considerations for operating a successful driver training business as self-employed individuals. This includes advertising and marketing, industry associations and support, professional indemnity insurance, public liability insurance, vehicle insurance and tax and accounting. Candidates will be well-equipped to navigate the legal and financial landscape of being self-employed.
Who Is It For?
Designed for Potential Driving Instructors undertaking training, or Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) wishing to refresh and update their knowledge and instructional techniques.
Training Type
Delivered as In-Car Training, this unit blends theory with practical application — allowing participants to understand and integrate road rules and signs into real driving scenarios alongside learner drivers.

What Do You Get?
Attendance Certificate
Following the training day you can request an attendance certificate (this will count towards your 40 hours or 20 hours).
Unit Completion Certificate
Awarded on completing in-car and online assignments. You have six months to complete. click here
Full Qualification Certificate
