In unit eight, participants will develop and gain a deeper understanding of the goals for driver education framework and how to adapt it in driver education programs for their potential driving instructors..
Participants will have the ability to explain the GDE principles clearly. They will also delve into the cause-and-effect relationships inherent in the driver training processes.

01You will be able to eecognise and explain the different levels of GDE and how they link to driver training and road safety.

02You will be able to explain using the GDE matrix to create examples and scenarios.

03You will be able to explain how cause and effect is used in driver training and its implication for road safety.
Following the training day you can request an attendance certificate.
On completion of your in-car and online assignments you will be sent a completion certificate for Unit Eight. (You have six months to complete.) The Honest Truth
On completion of all thirteen units of the Diploma for Teaching the Introduction to Driving Education Award you will receive your full qualification certificate — SCQF Level 8 | 17 credit points. (You have two years to complete all thirteen units.)
