I qualified as a driving instructor in 1989 and have trained potential driving instructors for the past 17 years, mainly around the Northwest.

I run a driving school in the Blackpool / Preston area where I have coached my own instructors through the qualification process — all of whom match my high standards and contribute to our continued success with both learners and potential instructors.

I believe the IDEA courses are innovative and provide a thorough, demanding, and enjoyable pathway for PDI qualification. These courses also offer qualified instructors the opportunity to further enhance their skills and knowledge.
