In Unit Two, participants will help prepare potential driving instructors for their driving theory assessment, which involves a comprehensive understanding of traffic rules, road signs, laws, and safe driving practices. Utilising a variety of resources, participants will significantly aid candidates in their study.
Participants will transfer their knowledge and understanding of the theories and practices of driving, helping their potential driving instructors overcome initial weaknesses into robust strengths — ensuring a well-rounded preparation for the assessment and future teaching.

01You will be able to create and organise a comprehensive list of theory materials to assist PDIs in supporting their students' theory studies.

02You will be able to discuss how you would deliver PDI/ADI theory training in-car, including different learning preferences.

03You will be able to construct and discuss four real-life scenarios reinforcing the importance of diverse situations.

04You will be able to produce and submit how to use an effective assessment procedure to evaluate a PDI's theory training progress.
Following the training day you can request an attendance certificate.
On completion of your in-car and online assignments you will be sent a completion certificate for Unit Two. (You have six months to complete.) The Honest Truth
On completion of all thirteen units of the Diploma for Teaching the Introduction to Driving Education Award you will receive your full qualification certificate — SCQF Level 8 | 17 credit points. (You have two years to complete all thirteen units.)
