Unit 6
Developing People Skills
Overview
In unit six, participants will be introduced to the benefits of
client-centred learning, the impact of neurodiversity, causes of
stress and anxiety, and how personality types impact learning.
Participants will also examine how independent driving decisions can
promote a growth mindset. Developing a greater knowledge and
understanding of these topics supports driver trainers and their
student drivers at all levels.
Who Is It For?
Designed for Potential Driving Instructors undertaking training, or Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) wishing to refresh and update their knowledge and instructional techniques.
Training Type
Delivered as In-Car Training, this unit blends theory with practical application — allowing participants to understand and integrate road rules and signs into real driving scenarios alongside learner drivers.
