And Lesson-Planning
In Unit Three, participants will be introduced to the benefits of setting goals, including SMART Goals to their potential driving instructors. Participants will learn how to teach a reflective process for their students' progress and make judgments to create better outcomes supporting more effective lesson planning. Participants will also develop skills to enhance their lesson-planning abilities and those of their potential driving instructors.

You will be able to describe the importance of goal setting in driver training.

You will be able to explain and demonstrate how to reach individual goals through adapting a driver training session.

You will be able to explain the process of reflection feedback and understand the connection between reflection, feedback, and goal setting.

You will be able to demonstrate your ability to facilitate a small group of students on creating a driving syllabus.

One year subscription to The Honest Truth — for delivering lessons to learner drivers and to use during PDI training.

On completion of your in-car and online assignments you will be sent a completion certificate for Unit One. (You have six months to complete.)

On completion of all thirteen units of the Diploma for Teaching the Introduction to Driving Education Award you will receive your full qualification certificate — SCQF Level 8 | 17 credit points. (You have two years to complete all thirteen units.)
